Meet Mrs. Shepherd
I am a 2000 graduate of Mullen High School in Mullen, Nebraska, and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Chadron State College in 2005. In 2012, I earned my Master of Science in School Counseling for grades 7-12 from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. In May of 2014, I completed an additional endorsement for School Counseling, Grades K-6, also from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
I began teaching K-12 Vocal and Instrumental Music at Eustis-Farnam Schools in August of 2005. I am currently in my seventh year as the K-12 Counselor, and I truly enjoy working with students to achieve their academic, career, and social/emotional goals!
I married my husband, Jerrad, in August of 2005. We have three daughters, Cassandra (14), Christina (10), and Allison (8), and currently live just south of Gothenburg. Our girls are involved in multiple school and community activities in Gothenburg, and our family enjoys camping, fishing, kayaking, boating, 4-wheeling, mud-runs, hiking, and target shooting. We are also active attendees of the Banner United Methodist Church south of Gothenburg.
In addition to my work at Eustis-Farnam Schools, my husband and I own and manage several rental properties ranging from Cozad to North Platte under three separate LLCs: Shepherd Housing and Equitable Properties, JerMel Properties, and MJ Gothenburg Housing. We also own and operate I-80 Lakeside Campground at North Platte, Exit 179.
