🚨Due to predicted cold temperatures, EFPS will have a 10:00 late start tomorrow, 1/21/25. Buses will run accordingly. No breakfast will be served.

For letter 'C', PreK met the character Cookie and author Yvette Mannon this past week. She shared both of her books about Cookie with us and let us pet Cookie!
Yvette is becoming a familiar face around EF with regular visits to various classrooms and participating in our Literacy Night earlier this year. We appreciate her sharing her stories, time, and beloved Cookie with us!

Out of an abundance of caution and as part of our ongoing commitment towards transparency, we are reaching out to let you know about a cyber security incident. Eustis-Farnam Public Schools learned on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 that PowerSchool, a global student information system provider used by Eustis-Farnam and many other districts across the country, was the target of a cybersecurity incident discovered on Saturday, December 28, 2024. We have been informed that some staff and student data from our school and other schools was downloaded by an unauthorized user, and an analysis is being done by PowerSchool on the type of information accessed.
PowerSchool has told us the situation has been contained, and they have taken actions to prevent the information from being used. If there are any important updates, we will notify you.
Nick Hodge, Superintendent

There will be NO SCHOOL for EFPS on Monday, January 6th due to weather and road conditions. No practices or activities.

CALENDAR UPDATE:
Tomorrow's home basketball games in Eustis will be played as follows:
Girls JV @ 2:30
Boys Varsity @ 3:30
Girls Varsity @ 5:00

Today we honored our 2nd Quarter CHARGE Students and Mentors. These students were recognized for their RESPECTFUL behavior here at school!

A wonderful thing about being a PK-12 school is the many opportunities for relationships. We have a number of high school students who volunteer to meet with a mentee from the elementary grades once a week. These older students serve as mentors, leaders, and safe places for our younger students by helping with homework, talking about problems, or just playing a game!
A big thank you to all of our mentors for their time and willingness to meet with younger students!

Congratulations to our last Noble Knights of 2024!
Ralston R, Cheyenne C, Beckett K, and Rowdy M

We've been having fun with our 12 Days of Christmas themes!

Congratulations to this week's 🛡Noble Knights🛡
Karma W, Jim K, Vance S

This change has been updated on the school calendar!

Congrats to the EF JH Ag Quiz Bowl Team for winning the District XI Championship. There were 50 registered teams this year.
Congrats to EF Creed Speakers, Gage & Eli at the District XI Creed Speaking contest.

A big thank you to all who came to enjoy the Christmas Concert last night! As always, Mrs. Olson and our students put on a wonderful holiday show!

Interviewing professionals in areas of interest is a great way to get some insight into careers, internships, networking, and life!
If you are passionate about your career and would want to share with our students, please reach out to Mrs. Koch.

Congratulations to last week's 🛡Noble Knights🛡:
Charlie H, Kyah H, Tylee M, Kaden H

Each year the Nebraska Department of Education releases AQuESTT ratings for each school district and school.
AQuESTT stands for "Accountability for a Quality Education System, Today and Tomorrow" and looks at a variety of data points to assess a school's success in the following areas: leadership, educational opportunities and access, transitions, positive partnerships and relationships, educator effectiveness, student achievement and growth, and postsecondary readiness.
Eustis-Farnam Public Schools is proud and honored to share that we have received an "EXCELLENT" classification this year.
To be recognized as one of the top performing districts in the state is truly something to be thankful for! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of our staff, students, and community as it takes a significant commitment to education to earn this classification!
