Some of the seniors exhaling because they just submitted their first round of local scholarships! The deadline is still over 11 hours away and we have over 80% of the seniors who have already turned in their packet. This is pretty incredible, and their hard work and dedication to finishing the year strong is noticed and appreciated!

PreK had a surprise reader Thursday. The Grinch came and shared his story. The students also got to ask him some question and learned that his middle name is “Super” and that his dog Max was waiting for him in his cave.

Happy Holidays!
EF Alum, Travis (The All Right Guy), is a loan officer, entrepreneur and professional speaker. He took time to speak with our juniors today! A few things that stood out to our students are:

- Motivation is never there when you need it. Discipline is what matters- and doing what you don't want to do!
- Follow your passion and the money will follow.
- Give your best and have a good attitude.
- You can change your mind several times on careers and jobs and it can still turn out just fine.
- Save money now, learn about taxes and how to benefit from that knowledge.
- Even tragedy can open doors you wouldn't have expected.
- Take the chances and opportunities you can, because you never know what might be an advantage or helpful down the line.
- Follow the Golden Rule.

Thank you, Travis, for taking time to give back to Eustis-Farnam! It is inspirational to hear how life takes many twists and turns, and what we think we know about ourselves can change over time. Regardless, you have made it clear that it all can make a positive difference in the lives of others when passions and relationships are put at the forefront!

📐🐄 This week our ag math students teamed up with Mrs. Kerznar’s 3rd grade math class for some hands-on learning! Together they explored area and perimeter by building cardboard barns—and yes, it was just as fun as it sounds. Smiles, creativity, and math in action all around. Fun was truly had by all! 🏗️✨

EF Alum, Katy, is a professional corn hole player. She took time to speak with our juniors today! A few things that stood out to our students are:

- Putting all of your effort into a passion you love can create a great career path!
- Being your own person will get you further in life than trying to be someone you're not.
- Just because you go to college for something doesn't mean that is what you have to do. Do what you are passionate about.
- Don't take the time you have with classmates and school friends for granted.
- What seems bad at the time, may open up more options in the future!
- Learn to manage your money while in high school- save, be smart!
- Persistence and determination are important.
- You will find people after high school who have similar interests as you. Also, don't be afraid to try new things with people with different interests.
- Take advantage of opportunities. You never know where they may lead!
- Being organized can be your best friend.
- There is a lot that goes into jobs that you don't think about, like as an athlete you also have social media, sponsorships, and travel agent duties for yourself.

Thank you, Katy, for taking time to give back to Eustis-Farnam! It is awesome to see how your competitiveness on the volleyball court could transfer into a different sport and pay. What a fun job to have! We will be watching for you on TV.
