A big "thank you" to the Eustis Area Community Foundation Fund for their support of our graduating class. They presented the seniors with their mailboxes this morning at graduation rehearsal to congratulate them and remind them of their roots.
The Class of 2025 will graduate tomorrow, Saturday May 10 at 11:00 AM. 🎓

Congrats to these CHARGE students of the quarter who were recognized for their efforts at being active learners!

Congratulations to the preschool class of 2025 who said "peace out" to pre-k yesterday and graduated today! 🎓

If you heard "quack, quack" from a teacher today, don't be alarmed. They aren't going quackers, just playing a fun game for Teacher Appreciation Week! Congrats to these winners!

The elementary has had so many Noble Knights this year!

TikTok's current Chromebook Challenge involves inserting pencil lead, pushpins, paperclips , and the sort into the USB ports to try to short circuit, set fire to, or explode a Chromebook. Please be advised that any Eustis-Farnam student who willfully shorts out or destroys their Chromebook will be charged the full price of the Chromebook and may be turned into the sheriff for vandalism and/or arson. With summer being only a few days away, let's finish the last few days smoothly and safely.

Happy Principal Appreciation Day to Mrs. Jenner!
You are all these things and more! Thank you for being a great leader to our students, staff, and school community.

6th grade students who have served as tellers for our Stampede Branch of Waypoint Bank this year had the opportunity to attend Stellar Teller Day at UNK today!
We got to hear author Julia Cook speak on earning, spending, and saving money, entrepreneurship, and good habits to be successful!

Jeff Bassett visited with EF students interested in the field of welding about his experience and career path as a welder.
Out of high school, Jeff was working in the Rock Springs, Wyoming oil fields where he saw pipeline welding in action as a career option. He eventually enrolled in the welding program at Southeast Community College in Milford and after graduating, became a pipeline welder. He traveled to some great places with work including Alaska where he saw grizzlies and fox near the worksite. He now works as a coordinator of construction operations with Tallgrass Energy, still utilizing his expertise in welding.
Jeff shared pros and cons of different welding career options, what may make some welding jobs higher paying than others, and what types of gigs may lend to family life versus young and single life.
Students checked out welding X-rays, viewed examples of pipeline layouts made using the AutoCAD program which is also used by welding engineers, gained insight into the importance of your work reputation and how it makes or breaks you in the welding industry, and heard how important networking is to keeping a steady flow of welding jobs lined up.
This real conversation with a real life welding professional was invaluable to our students. Thank you, Jeff, for taking time to invest in our students. We hope you will come back next year!

Congratulations to this week's 🛡 Noble Knights 🛡

KNIGHTS UNITE RECAP:
Knights Unite: A Day of Service was held on Thursday, April 24. This event was formerly known as "Sod House Day" but in recent years has been revamped as a day of community service and is now titled as such.
Our 6-12th grade students spent the morning in various community service projects across both Eustis and Farnam, giving back to the communities that support them in their many activities.
We then had student volunteers and community volunteers band together to create a fun afternoon for our elementary students to learn about all the different ways that community members serve. A huge shout out goes out to our many volunteers and donors who made today possible.
Mrs. Rexing deserves an abundance of thanks as it takes an incredible amount of planning and organization to pull off a day like this and have it go smoothly.
We are so proud of the work that our students and staff put in to give back to their communities!
