Eustis-Farnam FFA was one of 8 Nebraska FFA chapters selected to receive "FFA Impact Dollars" from Ag. Valley Co-Op, in partnership with Land O'Lakes and CoBank. A total of $60,000 was distributed amongst these 8 outstanding chapters to promote their agriculture education programs and initiatives.
Great job, EF FFA!

A big thank you to the Boosters for treating our staff this morning! It was a wonderful way to start Friday off right!

After our 7-12 students participated in their Academic Kickoff, our K-6 students had an exciting assembly!
Eustis-Farnam Public Schools and Waypoint Bank-Eustis have teamed up to bring the Stampede Branch Bank to EF students. Today, students learned about the school savings program, how it works, and how it can help them become savvy savers.
5 students had the special opportunity to stand in the "money machine" and try to catch as many bills as possible. The number of bills they caught in the machine will translate into the dollar amount that is placed into these students accounts upon their first deposit!
The Stampede Branch Bank will open officially on September 11! All K-6 students were sent home with a permission slip to participate after today's assembly!
A huge thank you to the staff at Waypoint Bank-Eustis and to the folks at the Nebraska Council on Economic Education for bringing this program to our students and for joining us today!

We had a busy afternoon at EFPS! National Honor Society kicked off the afternoon with an Academic Assembly! The student members planned and walked 7-12 students through a variety of activities including learning about grade point average, the actions that could improve or negatively impact their ability to earn scholarships, and a bingo game full of good student habits! And of course, they had to throw in some fun with a bit of tug of war amongst the classes. A big shout out to the students who planned and pulled off this event for their peers!

Homecoming Week is rapidly approaching! Start planning those theme day outfits and mark your calendar for all of the athletic contests that week!
Reminder for students: Any outfit you wear for a theme day must also still meet school dress code (ex: no crop tops, hats, head coverings, inappropriate graphics, etc.). Please plan accordingly!

This post has been updated as more businesses have joined and more fun has been added! Thank you for your support of our students! Don't forget about this event tomorrow! It will be a great way to kick off the back to school season! Please note that this event and most of the supplies being handed out are directed more at elementary age students (crayons, markers, glue sticks, etc.) Notebooks and pencils are available for those 7-12 students who may need them.

🚨REMINDER: Any 9-12 girls interested in being on the dance team this year should plan to attend the initial meeting tonight if possible.
Transportation will leave EF at 5:10 for the meeting to be held in Elwood. Students should not drive themselves.

See you there!

School and Fall Sports pictures will be on August 20th. Paper packets will be sent home at the start of the school year, but online ordering is available now if you'd like! Use the QR code below.

A huge "thank you!" to our local businesses for offering this to our students!
