Parents, please be aware and talk to your children: On Tuesday morning Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers released a consumer warning of THC-containing products currently being sold in Nebraska. Hilgers laid out a list of reasons why the products, often branded to mimic various candies and popular snacks, can be dangerous for human consumption. The warning issued signaled unknown production processes, mislabeling, unknown health effects and dangers to children as potential hazards, and included a link to a webpage (https://ago.nebraska.gov/attorney-general-consumer-warning) with various resources and a new video from the attorney general’s office (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCXzCavTAGw).

Elementary students were given a challenge last Friday and today we tested their "pumpkin catchers" at Morning Roundup! After listening to the story "Runaway Pumpkin," kids were tasked with creating something to catch the pumpkin with a small team of their choosing. They did a great job and we had some very unique ideas!

All seven of the seniors from Eustis-Farnam Applied to College on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. College representatives from MPCC, UNL, and UNK were in attendance to assist in the application process and give general information and insight on their colleges and the scholarship process. Donuts, Coffee Tree drinks, and pizza kept them energized to successfully submit a total of 24 applications, continue on their scholarship searches, submit scholarship applications, create FAFSA accounts, and create or update their resumes. Thank you to everyone who made the day a success. The seniors are feeling relieved and motivated to keep moving towards graduation day!

Kindergarten has been working on rules and laws in our community and at school, we use the acronym ROCKS to help us remember our rules at school. We also have been talking how community members work together. As a school community we worked together with the seniors to talk about how we can show “ROCKS” in the hall, cafeteria and on the playground. The kids had a great time and loved working together while learning!
