Any students attending the Athletic Awards Banquet (4/29 in Elwood) who are not riding with parents/guardians should plan to load the bus at school at 5:45 PM.

This school year we have had 3 athletic teams honored with the Nebraska Coaches Association Academic Excellence Award. The criteria for this award is a cumulative team GPA OF 3.30 or higher in the quarters/semester of their sports season. The Hi-Line Girls Cross Country and Basketball, as well as the Boys Basketball team met this criteria. See results below!

Yesterday, Mrs. Jenner was one of 20 Nebraska school administrators to graduate from the Pre-K - 3 Leadership Academy. Thank you to the Early Childhood Education Office at NDE for facilitating this opportunity for our school and young students to benefit from!

Coralee and Gabby attended Invention Convention hosted by ESU with their inventions yesterday. Coralee ended up winning 1st Place in her Inventors Circle and First Place for Overall 6th grade. Great work, inventors!

Due to forecasted weather, EFPS will have no school or activities tomorrow (March 25th).

This is a map of the Prom Parade route for those interested in coming out to see the students drive by. Students will leave school at 6:30!
The public is also invited to attend our Grand March following the Parade at 7:00 PM in the gym.

A late share, but last week JH girls had the opportunity to attend Expand Your Horizons at MPCC. 7/8 grade girls learned about STEM careers. Some favorites were engineering, dispatching, holistic living, and Game and Parks. They grabbed a coffee and stopped by Fort McPherson National Cemetery for a quick history lesson and to search for vets we may know.

We are looking for an individual with a desire to work in food service and to interact positively with students. Job details can be found in the image shared.

Assistant School Cook would report to the Head School Cook and School Administration.
School district employees are disqualified from receiving unemployment benefits from the school for periods of unemployment which fall between regular school years if they performed services for a school district during one year and have a contract or a reasonable assurance of employment to perform similar services on comparable terms during the next school year.
It is specifically agreed that the Worker's employment is on an at will basis, that this Work Agreement creates no property rights in continued employment, and that it may be terminated by either party, with or without cause or hearing, at any time upon giving a two calendar weeks notice. The Superintendent or the Board of Education may terminate this Agreement, and such termination will be effective two calendar weeks from the date of issuance of the Superintendent’s or the Board of Education’s notice. No advance notice of termination shall be necessary in the event such termination is to be effective immediately.
